The Agriculture Department has increased its estimate of the size of North Dakota's soybean and sugar beet crops. The department's Sept. 1 estimate released Friday pegs the North Dakota soybean crop at 139 million bushels, up 6 percent from the August forecast and 20 percent higher than last year.
